the parking situation can be tough as there aren't too many spaces available after breakfast time but we were lucky somebody was leaving as we arrived. the barista was very nice and attentive when taking our order but i didn't catch his name. the menu is small but plenty of options at the same time so you won't feel overwhelmed. i noticed the almond milk and the flavor for coffee were made in house which was a huge plus and tasted great. the space inside and out looked like a ton of people were using it for work meetings or studying. we wanted to purchase a pastry as a dessert but decided to save it for our next visit because we're definitely going to return.

Wow! This place had such a cute atmosphere and interesting food items and coffee items. I thought the food was delicious as well as the coffee. I would definitely come back here and everybody there seemed nice

Neat has become my FAVORITE coffee shop in OC. I absolutely love that the staff are all very attentive and personable. Neat hosts a variety of community events - inviting local vendors for tasting/selling, run clubs, bike clubs, etc. Neat goes beyond serving a fantastic cup of coffee - they help create a stronger and healthier community. The shop has indoor and outdoor seating. If the parking lot is full, you can park in the neighborhood or Smart & Final (very short walk).

This is my spot. This is my jam. As much as I go here, I wish I was here more often, but I only have so much money in my life. But if you are going to spend your money, I'd recommend spending it at Neat Coffee. Their drinks are great, I love their house-made seasonal flavored syrups, but what I love most of all is their perfect avocado toast. My family has been coming by almost every Sunday for three full orders of their avocado toast and three lattes and it's the most perfect way to spend your Sunday morning. The bread is perfect, the avo is perfect, the seasoning is perfect. If you've never been. Go. If you go- go more often. This is the type of business that needs to survive and thrive in Costa Mesa.

Neat and cozy. Excellent coffee. I would come back for their avocado toast one of the best. The cold brew was amazing as well as their cappuccino. But they don't have %2 milk and they need to add more options in the sandwiches menu

Wow, one of the best establishments I've been to in months! This place is for locals. Amazing community, people here know each other and have fun together after work. That said, it was equally easy to get hours of work done here. Oh, and the baristas have honed their craft! My oat cappuccino with real maple was the perfect ratio of sweet to rich coffee flavor! I'm most often disappointed with espresso drinks - too many shops are capitalizing on a wonderful European tradition without proper training. Not here. They know what's up! I was especially taken by how one sifted and whisked the matcha with a Zen-like attention. I had to ask, 'Have you been to Japan'? Yep, that was it. And classic name! I'll be back.

Neat might be the best coffee shop in Costa Mesa and possibly in Orange County. The attention to quality, community and friendliness is far above most. Best place to take the whole family with fun hangs for the kiddos out back, a great place to work and just have a good conversation! We drive out of our way to go get coffee from Neat. oh and the little donuts!!
